TNR Communications, the video production and consultancy arm of the Press Association, are looking for an experienced Self Shooting Producer/Editor (Preditor) with new or broadcast PR experience to join their expanding team. We are a fast- paced, lively agency who thrive on the buzz of creating great quality creative and editorial content for our exciting clients. Key role would be producing and shooting footage for broadcast (TV and Online) news, corporate video, social media video and branded content for marketing/ websites.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Production, the ideal candidate will be a self-shooting producer with creative editing skills. The ability to take client briefs, and transform them into engaging audience specific content for a multiple platforms is essential. Some news background would be useful.

TNR's varied clients and projects mean you will be required to produce and edit anything from editorial B-Roll (rough cut) to creative, high spec, animated corporate videos. From script to screen the successful candidate should be self-motivated and be able to work to tight deadlines and thrive on creativity.

With an excellent knowledge of a range of cameras you will be technically adept at working with different formats and HD broadcast standards. Familiarity with a variety of editing software (primarily Final Cut Pro and Premier Pro) would be advantageous, along with After Effects skills.

TNR is fast-paced, challenging and extremely varied, requiring a flexible person with an outgoing personality and positive attitude. The role includes:

• Conceiving and developing winning pitch proposals
• Creative thinking and ability to work with creative teams
• Understanding of client business issues and requirements
• Strong understanding of story telling techniques
• Client and project management from pitch stage through to project delivery.
• Able to produce, edit and create motion GFX.
• Maintain pre and post production stages with minimal input from producers/directors
• Develop and maintain streamlined post production process and facilities.
• Maintain efficient back up and archive system

Desired skills and experience

• Experienced producer (3 - 5 years' experience min to include self shooting and edit)
• Wide range of shooting and editing experience on creative and editorial projects.
• Technically adept - excellent knowledge of a range of cameras from EX, PMW, C300 etc. and technical lighting knowledge.
• A flare for editing and experienced in FCP/AVID.
• Motion GFX – After Effects, Cinema 4D, Photoshop and illustrator.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple edits
• Adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

The Role

The Role

You will
• Provide full sales support to the Magazine teams.

• Understanding and dealing with enquiries from customers
• Supporting sales generation on special projects
• Generating sales presentations
• Providing ad hoc and pre determined reports
• Attendance at all sales meetings, training programmes, presentations & events and exhibitions
• General office management – ordering stationary, handling post, ordering couriers
• Organising meetings and facilities for sales
• Dairy management
• Working with the sales director on other projects as required.

The Candidate
Ideally you will be of graduate calibre with experience of working in a commercial sales orientated environment. You will be looking to pursue a career in Sales & Marketing with an interest in the advertising/ media sector.
You will have a first rate communication and written English coupled with an excellent telephone manner. You will have a high attention to detail as you will be required to proof read and add your own views, edits and comments to external documents.

You will be computer Literate in Word, PowerPoint & Excel with knowledge of social media and associated applications. You will be highly organised and proactive in managing your own workload as well as following processes and procedures. Your interpersonal skills will allow you to develop a great rapport with your colleagues and clients. You will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast paced environment with a variety of tasks with a flexible and professional approach to work.

It is a requirement of the job that you hold a full UK licence.
