Imagine Publishing, a worldwide multimedia content producer within the technology, photography, knowledge and videogames market sectors, is currently looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join its Technology Division.
Linux User & Developer is a leading authority on Linux and the open source community. As Editor of this magazine you will be responsible for overseeing creative development, commissioning high quality tutorials and features, and driving your title commercially in a competitive print, digital and online publishing industry. You’ll already be at Editor level or will be a highly experienced Deputy Editor or equivalent. An excellent knowledge of the topic and superb community contacts are essential, as is the proven ability to lead an ideas-driven team day-to-day.
You will also need the following:
- Over three years experience in an editorial role
- A superb knowledge of Linux, distros, open source and Raspberry Pi
- Experience of commissioning
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Industry and community contacts
- A proven ability to manage staff and workflow
- Proven time and project management skills
- Ability to multitask and cope with pressure
- Knowledge of Word, Excel and InDesign.
